AFPMBAI and Palawan Group of Companies Strengthen Partnership with PalawanPay Integration
The current partnership between the Armed Forces and Police Mutual Benefit Association, Inc. AFPMBAI and the Palawan Group of Companies PGC have taken a significant step forward with the integration of PalawanPay. This collaboration aims to provide meaningful financial solutions, particularly for the Uniformed Services of the Philippines and their families.
Originally established in 2019 as an over-the-counter payment partner, the collaboration later expanded to include disbursement services. The Partnership has now evolved further with the inclusion of PalawanPay, enhancing the financial service offerings available to AFPMBAI member
The contract signing took place on May 8, 2024, and was attended by key officers from both organizations. Representing the Palawan Group of Companies were Lisa Lou Castro-Sabado, Chief Business Development Officer; Third Librea, President of PalawanPay; and Missy Baldemor, Head of B2B. AFPMBAI was represented by BGEN Bienvenido Regondola Jr. PA (Ret), President and CEO; and MGEN Henry Doyaoen PA (Ret), Head CSG and CCSO.
Moreover, PGC sponsored a three-month raffle promotion from January to March 2024 to encourage the use of over-the-counter and PalawanPay online payments. The grand prize, an iPhone 15, was awarded to PFC Weisson Bueno, PA, under the supervision of DTI representatives. These initiatives have significantly enhanced payment convenience and accessibility to AFPMBAI members.
