Kasambahay Kasambuhay 2019 Commences
On Friday, July 05, the JCI Senate Philippines, Inc. in partnership with Palawan Pawnshop – Palawan Express Pera Padala officially commenced the annual nationwide search for ten laudable household workers in the country, the Kasambahay Kasambuhay Pilipinas Awards.
“The awards program focuses on the importance and dignity of the loyal household service workers or kasambahays and draws inspirational lessons from their simple lives and daily accomplishments. Through this endeavor, the kasambahays’ worth will be fully appreciated and they will emerge as duly recognized partners in the Filipino home and society.” said Bobby L. Castro, President and CEO of PPS-PEPP.
First initiated on 2016, the Kasambahay Kasambuhay Pilipinas Awards has so far produced 25 awardees which truly inspired and touched the heart of the organizers and followers of this event. For its fourth year, each of the winners will receive Php 75,000.00 cash and a trophy. Nominations were restricted to domestic workers who have rendered at least seven straight years of service to current employers, not more than 75 years of age, still at work, and physically qualified to claim the award in Metro Manila, venue and date of the awarding will be announced soon.
Nomination forms are available at any Palawan Pawnshop branches nationwide until August 31, 2019.
